Whilst I was born and spent my early years in a village a few miles from Caerphilly my parents moved from Wales London for work reasons.
Despite living in England for decades I’ve never forgotten my Welsh heritage but for family reasons have not been able to return to live there. Nevertheless, Welsh politics is constantly on my mind; more so with pending elections and the atrocious effect both Labour and Plaid have had on the people of Wales.
Were I living in Wales I would very seriously consider joining Gwlad. Is the fact I live outside Wales a bar?
Of much concern is the response of a cousin who lives in Quakers Yard. They are as equally concerned by the way the Welsh government is failing the people of Wales. However, when I asked them yesterday about voting for Gwlad the response was they’d never heard of you?
We have numerous members outside Wales, reflecting the fact that it’s not at all uncommon for people to leave Wales for work reasons. Often, people who’ve left Wales for a while have a good insight into how badly Wales is actually run.
As for your cousin in Quakers Yard; yes, we have got a lot of work to do to raise our profile, but keep an eye on our social medial channels and we plan to get much more prominent over the next three months.
